Rubens, Poussin and more
The Flemish dominance and the French Artistic Scene in the XVIIth century

The Rubens, Poussin and 17th century artists exhibition assembles around sixty paintings from some of the best private and public collections in Europe. It offers a unique view of two artistic movements of the XVIIth century: Flemish Baroque painting, of which Rubens is the chief protagonist, and the French Classical school led by Poussin and the influence they had on each other.
