Gay and lesbian bars and clubs are mostly concentrated in the Marais and include some of the hippest addresses in the city. The best way to find out what's hot is by picking up a copy of the free weekly magazine in one of the bars listed below.
Bars open in a general way at the beginning of the afternoon or at midday and close at two o'clock in the morning with the exception of those remain opened till morning. Discotheque open at eleven o'clock or at midnight and close in the morning.
