Beyond Stars. The Mystical Landscape from Monet to Kandinsky

From March 14 until June 25, 2017, the Musée d’Orsay, one of the most iconic landmarks of Paris, is home to a new temporary exhibition, “Beyond Stars. The Mystical Landscape from Monet to Kandinsky”.

From 14/03/2017 to 25/06/2017

The exhibition which is held in an attempt to give prominence to the aspect of mysticism in some internationally renowned landscape paintings, puts on view some of the most wonderful masterpieces such as The Starry Night over the Rhone (1888) by Vincent van Gogh, the Water Lilies (1907) by Claude Monet, and Christ in the Garden of Olives (1889) by Paul Gauguin. It is an occasion for locals as well as tourists to examine these works from a completely new perspective.

“Beyond Stars. The Mystical Landscape from Monet to Kandinsky” is organised by the Musée d’Orsay in partnership with the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto.
